A levantine breakfast

Terwiah is the Levantine Arabic word for breakfast.

In Levantine Arabic, terwiah comes from the root rawaq — to calm down, to clear one’s mind. This is the meal that sets the tone for the day: the morning no one wants to leave.

For two hours I’ll take you to a Levantine breakfast table with no menu — the table simply comes to you, with karam, the generosity at the heart of Arab hospitality. Everyone here belongs.

An intimate setting, just 9 guests at the table. Everything included.

Arrive as a guest — leave as family.
